Vienna Girardi, the winner of this season’s The Bachelor, was proposed to with a nearly 3-carat princess-cut diamond platinum ring by future husband Jake Pavelka on Monday night’s season finale. The ring, designed by celebrity jeweler Neil Lane, is worth $50,000, according to StyleList.
The ring’s center stone is 2.02 carats a nd is surrounded by 70 diamonds for a total weight of 2.72 carats. Pavelka had Lane personally helped him select the ring, which was easy as Giradi had already clued him in to her love of princess-cut diamonds before he proposed to her in St. Lucia.
“Vienna wanted something very romantic and fitting of the beautiful ocean and sky,” the show’s stylist, Cary Fetman, told StyleList.
